Thanks so much for responding. I guess I did not make clear my question. , cause say, with FF as the default , I hit the link in my spreadsheet to go to the bank, which has to use IE, and FF is the default it will just use FF. Maybe someone could come up with a script, oops, app, to ask, when a link in a document or spreadsheet or somewhere other than in a browser, is activated, to ask "which browser do you want to use" with a list of installed browsers to choose from.

In IE 8, press Alt-T and arrow to Internet Options. Then press Right Arrow to till you find the Programs tab. You should be able to tab to the checkbox. In Firefox 3.6, press Alt-T and then Up Arrow to Internet Options. The checkbox should be under the General tab. Thus, if you start the browser that is not your default, you will be presented with the option to make it your default. Hope this helps. ----- Original Message ----- From: Donald E. <mailto:[email protected]> Bowen, Jr. To: [email protected] Sent: Wednesday, April 20, 2011 9:00 AM Subject: Specifying which browser to use Hi, Is it possible to specify which browser to use?
