Hi, for the ebay problem, while browse mode is on, turn off auto load by
pressing insert-a. Then press enter on the search edit box and browse
mode will turn off like normal. Type in your search and Browse mode will
not kick on automatically. Press enter when finished and then manually
turn on browse mode with control-shift-a. Remember that if you want auto
load to be enabled, press insert-a while Browse mode is on as this is a
toggle.
For your second question regarding automatic turning off of Browse mode,
there is not a way to do this.
