I also ran into this same problem yesterday after running app update.

Hi. Yesterday afternoon I uninstalled and reinstalled Window-eyes 7.5
from
the c d on my Dell XPS-410 desktop computer running Windows 7 Home Premium
32 bit, all Windows updates are current, and Window-eyes 7.5 using
Eloquence.
Ever since installing Window-eyes 7.5, when I exit or restart Window-eyes
or
restart the computer, a Window-eyes update dialog comes up telling me that
at least one of my apps is out of date, and would I like to open the add
remove dialog to perform the update. I press y for yes to open the add
remove dialog. I press alt-u and hear a message that there are no
updates.
I didn't call GW Micro yesterday because I thought the issue disappeared.
How can I resolve this issue?
