Kevin,

Remember in 7.2 this was a per set file setting. So say you are in Notepad, pop up Window-Eyes and turn on grade 2, escape back to Notepad...it will be grade 2. But if you alt-tab to another application the setting will revert to that new set file's setting (which is most likely grade 2 off). Once you alt-tab back to Notepad it will be back on. If you shut Notepad down than that set file goes away and the setting is gone because you didn't save it to disk.

With 7.5 the setting defaults to being global making the one change affect all applications as I'm guessing you are wanting 7.2 to do but doesn't.

So in 7.2 after turning on grade 2 you should save the set and select the apply to all sets (I believe that is what it was called) in your braille menu.

Regards,
Doug

Hi:
One of my clients is using Window-eyes version 7.2 with an Alva 544
Satellite braille display. When he goes into the Braille options
dialog and checks the enable Grade II Braille checkbox, then
activates the OK button, the Enable Grade II Braille checkbox becomes
unchecked.
Can anyone tell me why this is happening?
