I check my apps very nearly every day, so the alerts aren't all that
useful to me anyway. Now the problem of the alerts going off when
there is no actual update available is turning this feature into a
truly aggravating annoyance. I tried stopping the App Get app and the
Window Eyes update app, but no luck. If there is a way to turn off
this malfunctioning feature I would like to know. If there is no way,
then there needs to be. I am having a heck of a time getting anything
done with the alert stealing focus over and over while I am trying to
type or navigate through pages or documents.
