So Acid pro is accessable? I didn't think any of the Sony products were anymore.

Philip,

Do a Google search for VSTHost. It's a very basic program which, as the name suggests, is only used to host external VST plugins. I would first try this and see if your effects work any better than they do in Acid. If they still have issues, it could be that the effect windows themselves were inaccessibly designed. Which plugins are you having specific problems with?

Regards,
Steve

Hi, this is a bit specialist so I’ll keep it short. I was just wondering
if anyone on the list knew about audio recording software and VST
plugins. At the moment I am using we 7.5 on windows 7 64 bit and have
sony acid pro 7.0 as my vst host. I don’t however find it very
accessible when I load my vsts. If anyone knows what I’m talking about
and has any suggestions, please let me know, thanks, Phil
