As I already said, it will soon not be an issue. The 32 bit computers are fast
vanishing. In only a year, the prices of 64 bit computers has dropped down to
the under 400 dollars. The 32 bit computer will go the way of the desktop.
Who would have thought you can buy a desktop computer for $99. Granted it will
be a pretty basic computer with a gig of RAM and an 80 gig hard drive but even
the processor is still respectable at 1.6 GHZ. Certainly enough to run
Window-Eyes. There was once a time when the computer cost more then
Window-Eyes. That isn't necessarily true today and in less then 5 years none
of this will matter anyway as I understand it, windows 9 will not be in a 32
bit version anyway.

  Hello:

To take full advantage this is a good reason for Windows 7 64 Bite.

If memory serves, Windows XP is only able to address 3 GB of RAM.

    Sandra:

I could have gotten 8 gigs of memory on this Toshiba laptop when I bought
it but I didn't think I needed it. I have 4 and I can add 4 any time if I
decide to.
