Hello Pam,
The setting to which you are referring is called "Split Mixed Case
Words." Our default is to have them on, as sighted users separate a
single word with mixed capitalization into separate pieces of text. If
you want to turn this feature off, perform the following:
1. Press Control-Backslash to open Window-Eyes.
2. Press Alt-H to open the Help menu.
3. Down-arrow until you reach Show Advanced Options. If it is checked,
press Escape to exit the menu. Otherwise, press Enter to check it.
4. press Alt-E to focus the settings tree.
5. Press S until you reach Screen, and press the right-arrow to expand it.
6. Down-arrow to Other.
7. Tab until you reach the Split Mixed Case Words combo box, and
up-arrrow until the setting is off.
8. Press Control-S to save your changes.
Regarding your other issues, which version of Windows are you running?
Also, which antivirus or antimalware software is installed on the machine?
Regards,
Steve

I had installed 7.5 over 7.2, but I was having trouble with it being
sluggish, so I had my brother-in-law uninstall 7.2 and install 7.5 from
scratch. So, I had to redo the settings. I am not used to this whole new
interface. I think it sounded okay when it was installed, but I wanted
to change certain things. When I got done, it now is choppy. It took me
a while to realize that it makes a difference whether there are capital
letters in a word. It works like this. If you have a word that has a
capital letter in it next to a word that doesn't, there will be a space
between the two of them. Same goes for a bunch of words that start with
initial caps. If you have something in all caps or all small letters, it
will read right along like it used to. How do I change this annoying
feature? Also, I am one of the ones who now has window eyes crash after
I am in the control pannel. If I get out and don't save anything, it
seems as if it will not crash. But if I change settings and save them,
it does three loud beeps and crashes and I have to push the off button
and start all over again. This didn't happen until I installed it from
scratch. Can somebody help me with at least one of these things? Thanks.
Pam.
