Yep, had the same thing where if I've unselected or selected something,
moved it to the clipboard, I'll make a move with my arrow keys, usually
in win7s search box and it will say the phrase or word that I had taken
out of an email some time back. Obviously when the clipboard gets
flushed it doesn't do that, and it doesn't do it all the time either
which is the tricky part about this. But it seems to happen to me if I
make sudden movements with the arrows. I'm glad someone brought this up.
Now the test would be to select a bit of a message here and see if it
spits it back at you later I suppose. But yes I think it is some sort of
buffer as well. I say buff the buffing buffers!

This still happens with the clipboard, also.
Every time I cut or copy something to the clipboard and put it
somewhere I want it, Window-Eyes always reads what is on the clip
board when I exit a program. lol.
Thanks.

This also happens on XP Pro and Outlook 2003. WE will read something
from other messages that have been read previously. It is almost that
there is text in a buffer some where that didn't get cleared.

Subject: WE reading things not on screen
Running WE 7.5 on a Windows 7 64 bit machine. Using IE 8 WE will read
things that are not being displayed on the screen. For example on the
Sam's club auction web site WE reads all the error messages that are not
shown on the displayed web page.
