Hmmm wow, short of contacting GW-Micro tech support, I'd definitely
suggest perhaps a reinstallation of Window Eyes. Does anyone else have
any other suggestions?

Can you explain what happens when you lose speech? Like...Window
Eyes loads, and then how long do you have speech for? Does it stop
working after you open something specific? Or does it just happen on
it's on immediately after it loads? Or does it happen after a certain
amount of time goes by? Or is there some other event that happens
which seems to cause speech to stop?
This should help to more specifically narrow down the problem.
