Dave,

From within a Thunderbird message window, open Window-Eyes, and go to Screen/Punctuation. Click the "Math Toggle Scope" button until it is set to show punctuation for the program. Next, Tab to the math combo box. Change it from "Dictionary Only" to Off. Finally, press Control-S to save the change.

Regards,
Steve
