Running Windows 7 and WE 7.5.1 and Outlook 2007. It happened under WE 7.5 as well. Cliff I don't know if it is a memory issue, but I sometimes have a situation where WE does not terminate properly. It leaves a shadow on the task bar and WE will not start again. It says it is already running. The computer runs slow for my wife and the font is different. It seems to happen most often after I have closed Outlook 2007 and shut down WE. It is a very inconsistent problem.

Programs that run at windows start up can take alot of memory and if you don't need them, you can disable them within the programs themselves since that is the safest way to do it, or, you can go in to MSCONfig and turn them off and restart your computer.
