I am able to read the InstantBird history via browse mode with no
problems. This is with whatever was the latest as of two days ago.

Please can you try and duplicate the following.
1. Download and install the latest Instantbird, which came out last
week, July 1 2011. www.instantbird.com.
2. Once an account is set up and you have signed in, open a conversation
window.
3. Send a message.
4. Now try navigating the history.
5. Note the absence of browse mode? Pressing shift-ctrl-a will only
yield "browse mode not available".
This is somewhat of a disappointment, but I realize Instantbird came out
literally a week ago.
For now, the free screen reader is 100% usable with this application.
Using Window-Eyes 7.5.1 on a Windows 7 32 bit laptop.
