Hi Everyone,
Thanks, Mike for your comments. <grin> lol.
Fortunately, I do agree with you, and this has only happened one
other time. I do really prefer one screen reader at a time. lol.
I just had to share it with you all, and I even made a recording of
it for those who will be amused by it. lol. It's certainly not
something I encourage doing. lol. I really didn't intentionally do
that. I only wanted either Window-Eyes or System Access, preferabley
Window-Eyes for what I was doing. lol.
But you see, it happened because I was trying to get Window-Eyes to
talk, and couldn't, so I did what I always do, and shut down
Window-Eyes, only if I can not get it talking, and then load System
Access, well I did get some kind of an error message, when System
Access was talking first. It was a Window-Eyes error. I should have
done a screen shot, but I didn't. I didn't think that Window-Eyes
would start, since it had not started earlier. lol.
I can't stand it when two people are trying to talk at once.
I just don't understand why it happened in the first place, and this
time, it was not my sounds that locked up. <smile>

Hello, Pat. Well, I don't know about you, but I prefer having only one
screen reader running, lol. I've heard two screen readers run at once, and
that reminds me too much of trying to listen to two people talk at once, and
I find that to be very annoying. Like when my brother and sister are trying
to talk over each other, and I'm trying to say something and can't get a
word in edgewise. I'll stick to one screen reader thank you very much, lol.

Subject: Window-Eyes and System access running at once! lol
Hi Everyone,
Okay, thisis so funny! Too funny not to record this. lol.
Window-eyes and System access are running together. lol.
I lost speech in Internet Explorer, and I tried to unload Window-Eyes, but I
couldn't, so I loaded System access. It didn't start, so I again tried to
unload and load Window-Eyes with no speech. lol.
System access came up and was talking, when all of a sudden, out of the
computer gremlens came Window-Eyes. lol.
Now, they are both happily talking at once on my loving computer.
lol. Tell me what do you think of that?
It seems that I do loose speech often when I'm starting to download
something, using Internet Explorer.
Any ideas here? <grin> lol.
Thanks much.
Blessings,
Pat Ferguson
