To all,
I am about to graduate from college with a degree in political
science from a major four year university in the southeast ande was
wondering about future requirements in my future possible career
tracks. So, I'm looking into human resources, administrative assistant
or a paralegal sort of thing till I get my masters in health
administration or something like communications wit h my own money.
So, I guess that I would need to use a database program just am unsure
as I don't get many accurate answers from American Foundation for the
Blind's career services mentor support that much. If you have worked
on a federal orstate to local government similar narrow field and know
of what type of software and your work arounds or versions of the
software just send it to me off list or disscuss with me possible
options if you can.
At this point, I am greatly distressed with the wreck of the
economy and all. However, maybe noncompetative job placement could
augment the overarching negatives till I can have five years of
working experience for my masters in a similar field till the economy
rebounds. I have tried Access and tried the set file with the Jamal
Empowerment script just think its too complicated. Any other
alternatives other than this one?
Thanks for any help and or suggestions in learning how to do this
independently and all. I'm sure it will make me look better on my
application resume to say that I'm proficient at using a database
program like Access as opposed to my competition and all. I'll
appreciate any career advice as well from fellow political scientist
or future administraters in the private sector to public as well.
Thank you so much.
Thanks,
P
