Hi all, Another update to Word Advanced Features:
* seems I had a problem with an extra character in a file preventing the help from working * found an odd situation where Word would display a line spacing change to a sighted user, but a blind user with a screen reader could query Word about the line spacing in use, and get the wrong answer. It didn't happen that often, but if someone defined a style using a line spacing checkbox labeled "no spacing between paragraphs in the same style", well, your screen reader would tell you perhaps that there was 12 points of additional spacing between these paragraphs, but a sighted user would see there's obviously no extra spacing. So I modified the app so it will detect the lack of spacing and report it. * it now works better in outline view * some people (often in older, slower pcs) were ocasionally getting errors due to Word being too busy to handle requests for information from the app (these would be "call rejected" or "unspecified error" errors). these errors are now being better handled so they don't occur.
