Using wim7 32 home/we7.5.1 and ff3.6.19 went on audible today and had no
problem searching, reading my library and wish list.
Problem with audible is too much information, links etc. which makes it
more time consuming to find what you need.

I have trouble buying and getting downloads started with IE 8.
Actually have had this problem since IE 7. However, I have a lot of
problems shopping for books using Firefox, pretty much since I started
using Audible several years ago. The initial problem with Firefox was
that I couldn't get the flyover text that pops up in a search result
to read in Firefox and I found it really slow and tedious to navigate
to the Publisher's Summary on each book I looked at. Since about the
time Audible added their browsing history feature, I have not been
able to get any search results to display in Audible, this includes
Firefox 3.6, 4 and 5 with WE 7.5.1.
What I have been doing for some time is to shop for books using IE 8,
in addition to being able to get search results and read the flyover
version of the publisher's summary in search results, I find that
updating changes to the shopping cart is more responsive in IE. I then
close IE and go to Audible in Firefox and check out which works better
than in IE in my experience and also allows me to use the
auto-download feature which, last time I checked, did not work with
IE. This is a bit of a complicated way to shop, but I find it actually
allows me to shop, buy and download faster than using just one of the
browsers. If the issues with Firefox displaying books could be
resolved, if cart changes could be made to work better and faster and
if flyover text could be made to display properly in Firefox, I would
happily use just Firefox, but right now, the two browser method seems
to work best, or at least it does for me. I suppose that if IE could
work with the auto-start download feature, I could use it, but I
generally am not fond of IE and prefer to only use it in cases where
things don't work properly with Firefox.

Chris

Greetings,
We have heard that some parts of the Audible website tend to
disappear when you are logged in with Firefox. Does using the website
via Internet Explorer instead work?
