Hi Menno, Maybe I can explain some of what's happening: WordNav is a script which is specific to Word, so it does not run, or even show up in app manager, if Word isn't running. When Word is shutdown, the WordNav script is stopped automatically (because there is no reason for it to be running). I can't explain about the different version numbers, but I think the times you didn't see it in app manager, either Word wasn't running, or app manager wasn't set to show you the program-specific apps (app manager can be set so that it only lists for you the global apps, so even if WordNav was running, you would not see it if this was how app manager was set). If I could suggest, why don't you use the appGet app, set it to show you all apps, and go get another copy of the latest WordNav app and install it (it won't hurt to install it on top of itself). This should straighten out any troubles with older versions. hth, Chip
_____ From: Menno Schaap [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, July 21, 2011 6:05 PM To: 'GW Micro Product Discussion Listserv' Subject: wordnav script Hi list, I have some problems with the wordnav script. It did'nt work properly, sometimes it was stopped automatically, and now it isn't even shown in the app manager list. To solve the problem I tried to restore all the settings to default by deleting the user map file. Window-Eyes automatically installed some apps. I installed the wordscript app version 1.3 myself. The strange thing was that I got an announcement that the file of wordnav 1.3 was replacing a newer version. Apparently some newer scriptwas installed somewhere on. After the installation the app worked properly for a short time. And now in the list of the app manager says the app is starting. This status is not changing to running or stopped. Please could you give me some suggestions to get this quite important app running again?
