Vic,
The reason is simple: we don't want to overwhelm new Window-Eyes users,
or for that matter, anyone who dislikes or can't handle complexity when
it isn't necessary. From a technical support and training standpoint,
introducing new users to just the basic UI has been a resounding success.

Steve

Greetings
In some of the KB articles there are instructions to check Show Advanced
Options under the WE Help menu. Also, I see that comment show up on this
list from time to time.
I am wondering if there is a need to have advanced options check or
unchecked?
There are seven groups when this is not check and 13 when it is checked.
I think it would be easier if this option didn't exist. I am struggling
to find a compelling reason to hang on to it. However I will remain open
minded as a plethora of replies come my way.
