Hi Cory Thanks for writing. In answer to your questions:
1. I am using an Acer Aspire desktop computer 2. The Brailliant Braille Display is, as you say, connected via a USB port and is powered by the computer 3. I am not burning CDs, I am copying DAISY books from my CD/DVD drive, E:, to my hard drive, D:, using Windows Explorer. 4. I am always plugging different devices into the USB ports. The six on the back of the machine do not change much, but the four on the top have external drives, memory pens, my mobile phone and MP3 players plugged into them at different times. 5. I cannot remember exactly when this problem began. 6. The only thing I can think of that has changed recently is that we got a wireless router, but I am not sure that is relevant and accnot remember if this problem started before or after we got the router.
