I've not been able to reproduce the problem on my machine, so we need to
figure out what the difference is. Once I can duplicate, I can get it
resolved.

When I was notified of the update, I was looking forward to not
hearing the "preview open" and "preview closed" messages when either
opening or closing a message from the message list. Alas the messages
persist. As previously reported, the relevant check box for the
preview pain is unchecked under options and tab view is used in
Thunderbird 3.1.11 using W-E 7.5.1.
This is not a show stopper, but rather annoying nonetheless.
