Hi,
The read only check box may be checked in the properties diaglog box.
Go to the file name in the list and hit the application key you should then get
a context menu choose properties and if the read only box is checked just
uncheck it by hitting the space bar the hit enter on the ok button.
Hope this helps.

Subject: Getting Documents out of Protected View

How do I do this?? It's really irritating to say the least. All I wanna do is
fill things out and change some spellings and um well, Office 2010 says they
are in protected view. Help please and thanks, Doreen
