Okay thanks, I'll see if I can get into I.E.'s options and disable that,
should be easy enough to find once I manage to bring up the I.E. options
dialogue box.

If you have Skype, then you will definitely want to get rid of its
toolbar. It has proven to be so unstable, in fact, that Mozilla has
banned it from being installed in Firefox. i suspect the same is true
for IE.
