David,

Yes. You can import and export placemarkers by going to General/Document-Specific Settings and choosing Browse Mode. The files you import and export will have a file extension of .wed, and they can be saved in any location you like.

Steve

In the same line, is there a way to transfer ONLY the place markers?
I.e, a person might have reasons why he is running one set of apps, or a
certtain modification thereof, on his home computer, and a slightly
different set on his work computer. Still, in both places, he might
visit the same webpages; hence wanting to transfer only his place
markers, but leaving all the other stuff alone. Is this possible? Which
files would the place markers be stored in.

And, if it is not possible, can it be done by an app? Or what about WE
having a certain 'transfer' mode, where the user could choose such
operations. Such a feature could well be used for backup reasons as
well, of course.

Mike,

From within Window-Eyes, go to File/Explore Profile Folder, and copy
everything in the Explorer window which opens to the same location on
your other machines. This will move all of your apps and other WE
customizations. Note that for your apps, you will have to go into
Apps/App Management/App Manager, click Security, and change the trust
level to allow all apps.

Steve

Hi! What is the best way of transferring placemarkers and apps that have
had their keys modified between pcs that I routinely use?
Can this be done effectively, or must they be customized on the machines
themselves?

Thanks!
