I just use the "Skype Talking" utility with Skype which provides me with
all the features and functions you'd expect of Skype thus I don't have
to worry about Window-Eyes, apps or anything else.

from the skype main window press alt+shift+a. this will turn off
window-eyes alerts assuming you have the skype app install for
window-eyes.
hope this helps.

Hi folks
I am using the latest version of SkypeTalking and Window eyes. When I
run Window eyes, Window eyes tells me the status of online, offline,
away, etc. I have told SkypeTalking to turn alerts off but, is there
something in Window eyes I need to turn off so the alerts do not need
to be read? It can be quite annoying when I am reading something or
doing someting in Window eyes.
