Bryan, Sorry to take away your small consolation, but I can play the Audible book samples just fine with the "Shark" as you call it. I just went to the AUDIBLE.COM main page and found the book entitled "The Help" in the Daily Downloads section. I pressed Enter to bring up the description of the book and the sample. JAWS shows Flash Start and Flash End with an unlabeled button between these 2 lines. This button is unlabeled, but pressing Enter plays the sample. No need to route cursors; no need to go through menus! Perhaps both GW Micro and Adobe need to do some more work for Window-Eyes users. I did try the cursor routing and clicking method described by Aaron, I think it was, and I got it to work. However, I wouldn't want to go through that routine every time I wanted a sample to play.

Is it just me, or has it gotten extremely difficult to play sound samples on audible.com? It used to be that you could route the mouse pointer to the word Sample on a book's web site and the right click it and get the menu of options. But lately, for quite some time in fact, it seems that no matter how I do it now I can't seem to get the mouse to the correct spot. It's hard to know where the mouse should be positioned, let alone how to get it there. It seems to me certain parts of that site are becoming less and less accessible with Window-Eyes. Of course it's no better with the Shark, so I can find some small consolation in that. And I use Internet Explorer since that seems to be the preferred browser to most web designers. But it'd be nice if I could again hear a sample of a book on Audible instead of having to fork over money or a credit in order just to hear what a narrator sounds like. It's hard for me to turn on that radio when I'm at home. 'Cuz every song has got some Autotune. If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
