Well, IE9 may be great for sighted people, but not us blinks. <grin>

I intend to tell Microsoft that I am thoroughly discusted with IE9. They need to know since they wrote it.

It doesn't work great with other screen readers, either from what I'm hearing.

It's time for Microsoft to get their act together.

I don't know how these loving folks at GW Micro keep up with microsoft creating crappy software. Woops, maybe I shouldn't say it, but it's true. <grin>

I probably shouldn't hit send on this email, but I am! <grin> lol. Here it goes! <grin> lol

Hats off to you loving folks at GW Micro! I love Window-Eyes!

I sure don't see the point in MS cranking out these new versions of IE that
add little or no advantage over prev. releases.
Heck, IE9 even crashed on me when exiting similar to 8.

Hi Pat,
The best thing I can tell you is to roll back to IE 8. Microsoft as usual is
using end users as Beta testers. There are several issues with IE 9 that
have nothing to do with WE.

Subject: Window-eyes and IE9 again

Hi Everyone,

I don't see anything good about IE9. I'm not objecting to the partial
extention, as actually that is kind of neat, but Window-Eyes does not let me
see any progress bar or anything. When downloading from a dropbox link, the
insert-n does not work, neither does the alt-n work. I just pressed the
letter save, and the file is showing up in my download folder, however I can
not see any progress bar. I really hope that GW Micro makes Window-Eyes
better with IE9, as right this minute, I'm not loving the combination at
all.

I have read the screen with the WE Mouse, but I don't see any progress
happening at all.

It look like I paused the file with the letter S. This is weird, and if
someone has a good explanation for this, please let me know. The only thing
I see is the question asking me if I want to open or save this file! Of
course, I want to save it. <smile>

Now I tried to resume the file download, but I get a thing that says:
"Internet Explorer has stopped working."

I just deleted the file since it's not downloading.

Any help is greatly appreciated, please.

I suggest that someone does a tutorial on IE9 and Window-Eyes, please.
<smile>

Thanks much.
