Hi everyone!
I'm checking out an open source program called Auto Hot Key. It
allows you to write macros in Windows. I was thinking this might be a
nice solution to the problem of the disappearing monitor so then our
sighted friends would only have to remember one keystroke instead of
a series of steps to bring the screen back.
Anyway, I was reading about the program on the web site,
www.autohotkey.com and among the features it listed, it said it
allowed you to use the Windows key and the caps lock key as
modifiers. Since we already have this capability with Window-eyes,
that started me wondering if this program could conflict with
Window-eyes in any way. I don't know enough yet to know if these are
options you can choose to enable or how it works. But I'd rather not
install a program on a new computer that could make a mess of things.
Any thoughts? Thanks.
