Hi: A couple of days ago, when I was running Window-eyes 7.5.2 with an Optelec Alva BC-640, on an XP machine, a strange thing happened. I had installed the Screenreader drivers in the Alva BC setup, and made sure that the braille display was set to Optelec Alvea 640. The controller worked, I could control the computer from the Alva 640, but the braille display didn't work. I then shut down the computer. As the computer was shutting down, the braille display began to work as expected. Then when I turned the computer on again, the braille display started function and I could read what was on the login screen, but then, after I typed in my password, and the Windows Desktop came up, the braille display went blank and it would not respond. I loaded the All Users profile instead of the Default profile and the braille display started working again. Does anyone have any idea why the only worked when the All Users proffile was loaded and not when the Default profile was loaded?
