I am using ie9 and WE 7.5.2 on a 64 bit machine. As far as I know, the
numpad keys work fine for all programs except ie9 and McAfee. McAfee
problems are somewhat different. The McAfee thing does not bother me much,
but, in the past, I have had to use the mouse pointer in internet explorer
for some things, along with reviewing the screen. By the way, the WE cursor
has the same problem as the mouse pointer.

With ie9, with the screen maximized, if I put the mouse pointer in the top
left, or the bottom left, etc., then use the arrow keys on the numpad, I
hear the title of the page along with the address and the phrase "secure
search, "which is at the top of the page. If I use control-shift-B to read
the full screen, the only information that is added is the time and date,
which is at the bottom. The entire page is visible, but the mouse wants
nothing to do with it. Using the physical mouse with WE produces the same
frugal information. However, if WE is turned off, the physical mouse works
perfectly, but that does not help me.

In ie, the triangle of arrow keys works fine. When I arrow to a link, then
hit insert-plus, I am advised that the mouse is routed to element. However,
I can still read nothing with the numpad-5 key. If I use the slash key to
click on the supposed element, nothing happens.

The above is true of every web page. Since this has arisen, I have not had
a "real" need to use the mouse, but I know my luck will not hold out. Does
anyone know if some setting has to be changed? Is this an ie9 thing? Any
ideas? If I have missed a discussion concerning this on the list, I
apologize.

                                                Joan
