Peter, this has been the nightmare for blind business owners who want to take a stab at doing payroll in-house.

The last time I tried, Peachtree Complete Accounting is reasonably accessible with Window-Eyes. No matter how much scripting is done to it though, I am not certain that a blind person will ever have guaranteed access to all the functionalities of an accounting or a POINT OF SALE software.

Be that as it may, download a trial version of Peachtree Complete Accounting and give it a try. Cash Manager is another possibility, but if I understand the level you're approaching this task from, then Peachtree Complete Accounting will probably be your best bet. Most businesses tend to use QuickBooks and I don't recall it being accessible at all.

Hope this small pointer is somewhat useful.

Sincerely,
Olusegun
