Hello,
Just wondering if I can do anything differently...
Getting either one of two messages: Either an i/o error prompting
to restart the program or an incorrect password message when trying to
log in.
Steps taken since GWSkype was replaced with GWConnect:
Uninstalled GWSkype and installed GWConnect.
Ran the program, tried logging in with username and password and
having it remember the password.
Verified that my password does work on the Skype website and the
native Skype client.
Deleted %appdata%\GWConnect\settings.dat and also deleted the old
GWSkype folder.
Tried again, still getting the same result, this time not checking
the box to remember password.
Verified that when closing the program it's process is gone from
task manager.
Just as a re-cap on the problem itself, the program does the following:
Says logging in, then immediately says logging out, or says "i/o
error, please restart the program" or a message indicating an invalid
password.
Running WE7.5.2 on XP SP3.
Anything else I can do?
Thanks,
Cory
