Shannon,

First, I wanted to ask if you go into key describer mode with insert-1, and
press the application help, what does it say? Mine say "program help", and
I just was wondering if your keyboard is working correctly; this should tell
you if it is.

Also, if you reinstall sets for programs, I wanted to mention you will need
to then reinstall any apps you had which were specific to the same programs.
Word is a good example as there are several apps specific to Word, but when
it's set files are reinstalled, the information that apps which were
specific to Word were installed, is lost. You have to reinstall the apps
(WordNav or Word Advanced Features for instance) to get them to run again,
even though you will still see them in package manager as being installed.

hth,

Chip
