For some reason on my three computers it seems that IE 9 crashes come in batches especially on web sites like Youtube where flash is used. There will be days when it won't crash IE 9 at all then the next time it crashes IE 9 over and over again. I have also found on my computers and on other computers I help people with on random cases when you try to go back to IE 8 you end up with a corrupted copy of IE and have to reinstall IE 9 to get it to work so in other words there is no going back to IE 8. Doug at GW did tell me that they have identified the problem and a fix will be released sometime in the future. For us users who do a lot of web surfing I hope they are giving it some priority. In the mean time if possible stay with IE 8. This is sad as GW in the past has always made their claim to always work on the latest versions of Windows first.

Barrie,
the best tip I can give you is to uninstall it. Your IE8 and all its
settings is then back automatically.
