Hi,

Is your power meter running in the system tray?

I dunno. I just know that I am not getting the audible tones when I unplug
the power from the back. I have Window Eyes running in desktop mode as
stated before.

Hi Duyahn:
I don't know why it isn't working for you, I have two laptops with
Window-eyes 7.5.3 and on either one of them, I can check the battery
status by pressing insert-q, but to answer your questions, first, you
do not have to switch to the laptop keyboard layout, and second, if
you do switch to the laptop keyboard layout, you will have to learn
several new keystrokes, but will all be listed in the Hotkeys submenu
in the tree view in the Window-eyes control panel.

Hi!

I recently installed autible battery from the app central in Window eyes.

I
am running Window eyes 7.5.3 and this is running on a laptop. However,
the
audible battery application is not working when I unplug the power from
the
laptop or when I plug it in to power. My laptop is set up for desktop
mode
in Window eyes. Do I need to run Window eyes in Laptop mode for this
application to work? Also if I do this, will I need to remember new
keyboard
commands for Window eyes?

Thanks

Duyahn
