Paulette,
From within Window-Eyes, go to the Help menu and make sure Show
Advanced Options is checked. Then, press Alt-E to navigate to the
settings tree, open the Other branch of the Screen node, Tab to the
Numbers combo box, and change the setting to Off. If you want to keep
the change, press Control-S at this point to save it.
