Hello all,
Just thought I'd ask, has anyone ever heard of or worked with a
conferencing package called Adobe Connect? I had a job interview with a
company where they use a software package like this for their initial
interviews and for training and with Window Eyes, the login and the
flash-based testing/plugin installation is accessible, but the
conferencing portion in the chat room itself is completely
inaccessible. The WE cursor/mouse pointer won't read anything within
the window itself. As a result of course the interview was a bust and
I'm rescheduled to take another crack at it tomorrow. Regardless I'm
wondering if anyone knows if any of the other screen readers out there
work with this as if I have to install one even just to get through this
initial stage of employment I would happily do so. Can anyone tell me
either on or off list if they know of anything working with this? I do
not as of yet know what the company's response to this problem will be,
but I highly doubt they'll change their conferencing package just to
accommodate me. Any speedy response to this would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Cory
