Not always but I do have that problem with IE8 on FB.

I remember seeing a post on edit boxes, but I confess to not following the
thread very carefully, so apologies if this has already been covered.
When I'm writing in the mobile interface of Facebook, edit boxes when
writing notes and status updates usually behave well with Firefox, but
with I E 8, they will suddenly stop reading for no reason which I
understand. If I turn browse mode on, I can read what's there, but I
can't get any feedback with browse mode off, and restarting W-E doesn't
seem to help either. So the obvious answer is to use Firefox for
Facebook, but I'd be interested to know if this problem is limited to me,
and if there's a solution.
