Hello everyone,
For several years previous to and including last year, I've come
crying great crocodile tears, looking for a really accessible
accounting/bookkeeping program. Last year someone suggested I look
into a program from a company down under. I did, and wow! The world
is suddenly right-side-up for me and my business.
Yes, there is an accounting program that is fully accessible.
There is an organization in New Zealand by the name of Accomplish
Ltd. The web site is Accomplish.com The software name is CashManager.
These people are, without a doubt, the most interested and helpful
software techs you can ever find.
I don't know how the program works with JAWS, but it works fabulously
with GW Micro's Windoweyes. They worked hard with WE and me to get
everything;ing working accurately and well.
I have had little difficulty learning the program though there is a
learning curve. You have to use all of the possible methods of
access in CM but the all work well.
Even though they are half a world away and the time difference delays
things, they get right on a question and solve one's dilemma pronto.
I am, admittedly, no computer wizz. I have always maintained that a
computer was there to do work for me and make my life easier, not the
other way around.
This year, with the help of CashManager, I was able to take care of
all the gathering of information for my accountants at tax time and
they, the tax folks, were pleased with the quality of my submission.
Writing checks (cheques) in CM, writing invoices, entering deposits
representing payment of invoices, and making regular deposits has
been very easy to learn and actually fun. If you need help they pull
out all the stops to get things fixed and solve the problem.
Any of the other accounting programs that we all know and hate are no
longer, in my opinion, even to be thought of!
You can download a demo copy of CashManager from their web site to
try. There is a good tutorial there to play/practice with.
Raewyn, Mandy, Penny and the rest of their staff are fabulous to work
with. Again the are most helpful and knowledgeable. I'm not one to
sing praises from roof tops, but the folks at Accomplish LTD. have
earned accolades aplenty.
The program really works. Try it, you'll like it!
