With all this talk about feeldsets I started thinking about how window-eyes reads groups in dialog boxes. When you tab to a control right now you here the name of the group then you here the focused control read how-ever you have it set up in the verbosity dialog. Then you tab to another ctrl you here the group name and then it reads the ctrl how-ever you have it set up in verbosity and so on and so on. You here the group name even if it is the same group. I would like a new feature to control how groups are read. Read group name when controls get focused. This will work as it does now repeating the name of the group as focus is moved to it. Read group when it changes. This will only read the group name if it changes. So for example play one group when you press tab it will read loop verces reading play one loop. Because the group has not changed there for there is no reason to here the name of the group again. When you are out of all groups it will say leaving groups so you no that none of these controls that come after are part of a group at all.
Another problem window-eyes has is tab ctrl reading. Window-eyes is second to none when moving threw the page tab list with the left and right arrows. It falls short though when pressing ctrl tab to jump quickly between tabs. The name of the tab is not read. So pressing ctrl tab will move from tab to tab read the name and index number of the tab and the focus ctrl. This I think could be done with an app. Also lets say you know that you want the fourth tab in the list you could press ctrl 4 and get moved right to it and the name of the tab would be read and the focused ctrl. Ctrl one threw 9 could be supported to move threw the first nine tabs in the page tab list. Ctrl 0 could be used to drop you right on the page tab list to move threw the tabs pressing the right and left arrow keys. Just some feedback. Jim Grimsby JR.
