Hi all,
I've been having an issue that I'm hoping one of you can help me with. I
use Win Eyes 7.2 at home and work on Win XP machines. I also use IE 8 on
both. At home, when I open a browser session, either by my keyboard
shortcut or by clicking a link in an email, the IE 8 window opens
maximized. Sometimes if I click a link within a browser session, the new
window opens up minimized. At work, we were just upgraded to IE 8 and my
browser windows always open small and need to be maximized.

The issue I have is that, when the IE windows open and are not maximized,
I try to use alt plus space-bar to access the little menu to select
maximize, but most often Window Eyes, the mouse and the arrow keys or "x"
on the keyboard won't work and will not allow me to select maximize. I
can usually press Escape and get speech back. Sometimes I'm able to use
my remaining vision to get the mouse onto the maximize option, but this
doesn't always work. Sometimes I think it occurs when the page is content
rich and is still loading, but it also seems to happen after I think the
pages are fully loaded. It's obviously a bigger problem at work where all
my browser windows need to be maximized.

So, two questions...
1. Is there a way to set the default to always maximize my browser
windows, as it seems to do at home?
2. Any idea why this lock up issue happens at all? I did not have this
issue when using IE 6 on this same computer.
