Hi all,

Sorry if this is OT.

0\I am enrolled in a correspondence school. The school is willing to give me credit hours towards my degree for putting their standard school materials in an accessible, electronic format for the blind. I am currently using Openbook 7 and I am generally pretty happy with the results it has afforded me to date. My question to you WE users is:

What would be the best "Files of Type" format to save these school materials in through the OpenBook v7 program that would best serve the majority of blind computer users? Incidentally, there will probably be those attending the school who, for whatever reason, use other screen readers. The available "Files of Type" format saving options in OpenBook 7 are as follows

Arkenstone Docs, *.ark
Text Files, *.txt
Text Files with line brakes, *.txt
Wordwin 6, 7, 8, *.doc
RTF Documents, *.rtf
HTML, *.htm
WordPerfect 5.1, *.wp5
WordPerfect &, *.wpd
WordPro 96, 97, *.lwd
WordStar Win2, *.wsd

I was thinking that HTML would be the most accessible format for most people, but what do you guys think?

Thank you in advance for any suggestions you may have for me to help me out in this project.

Sincerely,
