Hi list, i find that if one belongs to a user list, and runs in to
trouble, there is always someone on the user list, who not only knows
how to help, but is willing to. several of you answered my cry for
help, and using your advice, i have now cleared away the wineyes that
was partially installed, and have installed w.2, which is the version
i already had installed, and which i tried to upgrade to w.5. i had
some trouble unstalling the existing wineyes, and without narrator, i
wouldn't have been able to do it. i have one remaining problem, i had
no trouble putting w.5 in to my old computer, but only in my newer
one. i shall make another attempt to install 7.5, but being a coward,
i shall wait until my daughter comes to visit me, because i am glad
to say, she can see and understand a screen. thanks again to all of
you who sent me messages. brian.
