Hi Brenda,
I was using winamp version 5.623, and to help you out I just updated to winamp and all is well.
I would suggest
unloading the winamp skrip
by
control backspace
then alt a
enter and arrow down
enter on add or remove apps
press w until you hear winamp and tab to unload and enter
then
download  a fresh copy --here is the link:

then follow the prompts.
