Hello all,
Do you guys know that even though WE may support native WPF controls, building
(or trying to build), a WPF application via VS 2010 and Window-Eyes is a
different matter. I was currently playing around with it via a book I
downloaded, and I'm having issues getting things to work. For one, WE doesn't
display the designer very well; nothing is read. With Windows Forms, at least
the controls are read after double-clicking them from the toolbox, and then the
width and height can be adjusted via the properties dialog by double-clicking,
or using control-enter to bring up the properties of that particular control.
Not the case with WPF controls; on the design surface, when bringing up the
properties dialog, WE seems to read something that looks like less than
English. It was very weird. So if you could please work on supporting this
design surface, guys, it would be awesome. If I could, I'd write an app to fix
it, but I'm just learning, hence the question about Visual Studio. Yes, I know
that there is the xaml method of laying out forms, but using the design surface
would be quicker, and if blind folks can use it for Windows Forms, why not have
it also for WPF? They can still use xaml to tweek the look and feel of the
application once they're done. Thanks.
