Greetings,
GWConnect displays this information on the status line. I do not know
why some programs can read it and others cannot. However, this is up to
each screen reader vendor to correct as this is a standard approach for
displaying status information.

Steve

Hi again,
I should have mentioned that the person asking the question is not a
Window-Eyes user, but has NVDA installed. If I read the status line
with control plus insert plus S, Window-Eyes reports in call with so and
so and then tells me the call duration. On the other hand, NVDA only
reports that the particular user is on line and says nothing about the
call duration or who the user is calling. So is there any other way to
get the call duration while a call is in progress, or is it just that
different screen readers read the status line differently.
(Once again, thanks for any help.
