Yes David, I can confirm that happening with me. It's just as you say. the s is not pronounced in these cases. I have noticed this happening for some time, and I thought it might be due to my hearing loss, but that's not the case. I'd like to hear of a fix for this also, if any exists. It did not happen in earlier versions of WE. I am also running XP with Win-eyes 7.5.4.1.
