Jim,

This tells me you have the mouse voice turned off. If it is off the physical mouse won't read anything but the hotkeys will. This is in the Mouse / Voice option in the Window-Eyes control panel.

Hi Doug

Redrawing the screen does not help. Reading with the physical mouse is lost in all open programs and any program I open. Reading by moving the mouse cursor with the arrow keys still works.

Thanks
Jim

James,

Next time you get into this situation, what if you do a screen redraw (insert-backslash) instead of restarting Window-Eyes?

Hi

I am finding that I lose the ability to read by moving the physical mouse more often with the beta than previously. When I can't read with the mouse I have to close and restart WE to get the feature back. I haven't been able to identify a pattern to this yet.

Win 7 64 bit and WE beta
