Hi, On win8 with beta2 I discovered with my braillestar 40 brailleterminal:
When in explorer and on the first folder. Press on the brailledisplay the key for 40 cells to the right. I can see: <folder> size I don't know why size, but folder, because it has to show the type. When I press 40 cels right again, I can not longer say anything. When arrowing down to the next item, braill will not show any longer something. I can only see on the display: mi After exiting explorer and restarting, braill is working again. It seems a bit faster. But not in taskmanager [ctrl-shift-escape] Regards, Marten On Thu, 08 Nov 2012 20:52:30 +0000 "pete gurney" <[email protected]> wrote: > hello gw staff, > > after installing beta 2 a couple of things that still give problems are: > when in windows explorer and going down a list of folders and files if you > press the spacebar to repeat the name of a folder or file window-eyes only > tells you when it was created plus some other info but not the name of the > folder or file. > it also doesn't tell you correctly when you are selecting multiple files. > > and when on a page of search results on google browse mode keeps turning on > and off as you tab down the results, each time it gets to the links > labelled as 'result' it turns off and when you tab onto a link to take you > to one of the results it turns back on again. > this is on an i7 machine running windows7 with the latest firefox. > > pete. > > If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender > only.
