Perhaps what you need is reimage. Melware, viruses and just computer clutter can often cause computer problems. Most of us think anti virus when the problem maybe missing files, corrupted files etc.. My brother tried reimage.com and had all the drivers and other windows files checked and the bad ones replaced. He says his computer runs great now. I didn't ask what it cost. I figure if it works it's worth it. Maybe you might need that instead of another anti virus program. Reimage offers a free scan of your computer and will show what files are missing from your OS etc so it doesn't hurt to find out.

Subject: Recommendations for free accessible anti-virus program?

Dear all,

Does anybody have any suggestions on a free accessible anti-virus
program that they can recommend? Honestly there is a lot of funny
things happening to my computer since it was fixed like my web pages
keep saying "internet explorer cannot respond" or whatever. I've
already scanned it with Microsoft Security Essentials, disc defragment
and clean and another scanning software on trojans and malware without
any success. I've ried the AVG software and hink that it cannot pickup
anything with any real viruses even though this was recommended to me
cause of accessibility features. Thanks on your recommendations and
eventually this might lead me to just outright purchase something to
ensure the safety of my computer.

Thanks,
Petter
